@cptnwillbond Yea fair. Usually unless someone's politics bleed into their material (which unfortunately happens a lot) I find it quite easy to ignore. I'm trans so it is a bit gutting but that's just the way it is yk. Like if a horrible director makes a good movie I just learn to live with it

@abnersquill he used blackface and portrayed racial stereotypes in his tv show some years ago. i've heard he apologised for it, but i've heard he's done some other shitty stuff as well, however, i don't know which ones

@cptnwillbond There have been multiple contestants on the same "level" of transphobia as him, so I don't really understand why there's a massive uproar about him specifically and nobody else

@abnersquill just because it's "not a current thing", it doesn't change the fact that he openly endorsed a transphobe. i have friends who are trans and are deeply offended by it, so i cannot look past it. i don't care if you don't like his opinions, you are still somewhat supporting him
