The foreskin is considered more likely to cause disease and STDs because it is made of mucosa. The clitoris in women is ALSO made of mucosa, so by this same logic, all uncircumcised women are more likely to cause infection or STDs.

Any person who supports child circumcision should go and circumcise themselves first instead. That includes the men who are already circumcised (cut even further), and the women who currently are not.

Ever heard of Metzitzah b'peh? Neither had I until today. It’s the Orthodox Jewish practice of circumcising 8 day old babies with no anaesthetic and then having a Rabbi suck blood from the wound. Astonishingly the practice is not illegal in Britain.

@Globalstats11 The U.S. almost certainly isn’t 80%. Circumcision is uncommon among Latinos, who make up 20% of the population, and is getting less common among whites. I’d probably guess it to be in between 60-80%. It’s basically a legacy surgery and people here don’t always like change.

The circumcision industry is valued at over 6 billion dollars but the truth is, this is medical rape. We hold infants down and remove an essential part of their sexual organ long before they have the opportunity to consent. This procedure is physically and psychologically traumatic for babies and should never be done in any circumstance. They have convinced parents that this is a preventative measure to ensure better health as an adult but this is actually just a human sacrifice ritual designed to profit the biotech and beauty industry.

I had painful erections for most of my life which meets one definition of “botched.” The problem is, no doctor ever told me my circumcision was botched. It didn’t even occur to me until I started talking to cut men who say they can move their skin when erect or have a frenulum.
