@hey_woody1989 It sucks doesn’t it 😭 I had to wipe this week clean of every appointment just to give myself a break. It kicks off again next week 🫠

@aboutasteph Can relate to this… for the last 1-2 years.. it’s been constant GP/specialist appointments, Blood tests, ultrasounds/scans… I’m knackered too… I have so many issues and it seems to be growing by the month 😂

I had multiple medical appts this week but I had to cancel/reschedule as sometimes I just need to de-medicalise myself and have a break from it all - the burnout from needing to see so many doctors is real

@mark_nidenko That “it’ll never happen to me” is not true. I learnt that it doesn’t matter what you put in front of me i’ll go to the depths of the earth to get better, I learnt how precious life is and most of all to just not sweat the small stuff, take things as they come

@aboutasteph Can I ask what you've learnt about yourself through your experience?

12 years strong 💪🏽 For new friends, I was diagnosed with a life threatening brain tumour in 2013 at the age of 23. I had a 12 hour brain surgery which wasn’t completely successful and then did 15 rounds of radiotherapy. I’m monitored regularly and currently stable 🩷

@Leafmalone Thanks Lyn 🙏 It has been a massive lifetime of serious medical issues but my horse equals light at the end of the tunnel and it’s nice to be able to enjoy life again rather than just always trying to survive

@aboutasteph Basically it’s a glp 1 which is still in the testing stage but it is a lot cheaper than the others on the market and easy to access by ordering online
