About Islam

#Allah informs (us) that He neither created Jinn and mankind for a jest nor that He will leave them to wander aimlessly and carelessly (without being) commanded (to fulfil obligations) and prohibited (from the forbidden things);

#Muslims believe that #Allah (God) created Angels, Jinn’s and humans along with everything else in the world. Muslims believe that Jinn’s and humans have there own freewill and can decide themselves if they want to be good or bad.

What Do #Muslims Believe ? The basic beliefs of Muslims fall into 6 main categories, which are known as "Articles of #Faith": 🔸Faith in the unity of God 🔸Faith in angels 🔸Faith in prophets 🔸Faith in books of revelation 🔸Faith in an afterlife 🔸Faith in destiny/divine decree

To Him alone belongs this power, no one shares in His Majesty. He is the Ever-Dominating One, who has surrounded all His creation from with- out and from within with His Irresistible Power. He carries out His Will. #Allah /#God

#Tawheed : Belief in Oneness and Uniqueness of Allah (God). - Allah is One in His Lordship, - One in His God-ship, and - One in His Actions, Names and Attributes.

We cannot make things up; only the acts of #worship explicitly laid out by the Quran and Sunnah are acceptable. On the other hand, non-worship actions (mu’amalat) are permissible unless there is textual evidence that prohibits them.

It is important here to differentiate between #worship (ibadaat) and daily life and interactions (mu’amalat). With regard to worship, the rule of thumb is that something is forbidden by default unless there is supporting evidence in the Quran and Sunnah.

Some people think that if they are just following someone else, as long as they themselves did not invent something, then their action is acceptable. This is not true; every person is responsible for being diligent in making sure their #actions are correct.

Good #intentions alone are not enough. We must also ensure that our actions are done properly in accordance with the example of the Prophet (pbuh) and the guidelines of Islam.

Scholars say that the acceptance of actions of #worship is based on the above two conditions: 1- The #intention - the action should be done with sincerity, for the sake of only Allah. 2- It should be done in accordance with the #Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh)

4 - Belief in His #Messengers: Muslims attest that Allah did send Messengers to every nation inviting them to #worship Him Alone. This belief also entails denouncing all gods that are worshipped besides Allah or instead of Him.

3 - Belief in His #Books: Belief in His Books is believing that #Allah did in reality reveal Books to His Messengers to convey them to their people. legacy.quran.com/4/82

2 - Belief in His #Angels: Allah has created the angels from light. They are honorable slaves of Allah; they obey Him and execute His Commands; Allah describes them by saying: "…They do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded." [Quran: 66:6]

1- Belief in #Allah: This article means to believe that Allah is the One #God, to whom worship is due; that He is the Creator and the Sustainer of everything; that it is He who gives life and causes death, and that He is Unique in His Names and Attributes.

There are six pillars of #Faith in #Islam: 1. Belief in Allah (God), 2. Belief in His Angels, 3. Belief in His Books, 4. Belief in His Messengers, 5. Belief in the Last Day, and: 6. Belief in the Divine Preordainment and Divine Decree (Qadhaa' and Qadr).

Associating partners to #Allah (God) is a major sin which Allah does not forgive ( If the person died without repenting), but He can forgive all other sins. legacy.quran.com/4/48 #Shirk

This is what the #Quran expressed, by mentioning one's regarding of his #lifespan as short, upon death and on the day of Judgment. {It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.} [Quran 79: 46]
