@abrendmoen 80% of East Siders say housing is the top priority. The Heights needs subsidy to turn piles of dirt into housing. If we’re subsidizing carshare, what’s the calculable ROI given the opportunity cost?

Serious question on Evie carshare: if Saint Paul is subsidizing this, where’s the ROI? How are outcomes being measured? We can’t keep funding programs without a clear return. Intent isn’t a metric.

On Tuesday, we Raised the Roof of the North End Community Center. I partnered with @SenatorPappas, @AthenaHollins, @abrendmoen and many others to secure state bonding funds for this project. This has been years in the making. Finally, our community has a place we can call home.

I keep my STP council musings to myself these days cause if I pop off I gotta look those people in the eye the very next day but Council President Brendmoen did entirely disintegrate some guy from Bloomington who was trying to be clever and I want to thank her for the laugh.

BRENDMOEN: St. Paul got rid of youth basketball fees. They now have 1,237 youth signed up, a 35% increase in registrations. McDonough Rec Center, which hasn't had a basketball team since 2017, now has multiple. Battle Creek has 11 teams.
