even the devil quoted scriptures. your lack of revelation knowledge is disappointing for what you think you represent.

Pastor Shola, sir, there is no single verse in the New Testament that says prosperity is God’s will for us. The Macedonian church was poor. The Smyrna church was poor. Paul was so poor most of the time. When Bible explicitly mentioned God’s will for us, it said this: 1 Thessalonians 4:3 (ESV): “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality.” God wants us sanctified. If we are, when He appears we would then we’d be able to take on our heavenly bodies. That is the hope of the gospel. Another time He mentioned His will: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV): “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” God wills that we rejoice in all circumstances. That includes wealth, poverty, health, sickness etc. Paul said this to a Thessalonians church facing persecution and tribulations. What could be worse? But Paul said it was God who qualified them for troubles! 2 Thessalonians 1:4-5 “…we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.” Pastor Shola, sir, till Jesus comes the Christian would be given to troubles, poverty, wealth, health, sickness etc. The only thing guaranteed for the Christian is eternal life. That’s the joy. So, like Paul, what we should say is, Philippians 4:12 (NKJV): “I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.” Why? Because we know that we have an inheritance that doesn’t perish. It’s more than money. Or open doors. May God keep us all. Amen

Arizona Iced Tea founder explains why he will never increase the $0.99 price of his tea: “We’re successful. We’re debt-free. We own everything. Why? Why have people who are having a hard time paying their rent have to pay more for their drink? Maybe it’s my way to give back.”

Feminism in Nigeria needs to become stricter, more militant, more determined, more ruthless. This is not the time for misguided compassion. We are at war every minute of every day. Nigerian women are in a silent war, and your every choice and action will determine the outcome.
