I personally agree that Byzantium was NOT the area that needs content/mechanics massively. However, this is easily a Top 3 play area for ca 70% of players. What irks me more is that much of the DLC flavour design is like ... an ERE-exclusive mission tree.

@ProudBavaria Should also be noted that people are still under the mindset that the patches coinciding with DLC will only be around the DLC. Which Johan himself said that will not be the case with all future EU5 DLC and patches. Essentially paid stuff = Byz. Free stuff = everything else
