@XRTerra_ To me 5 has the best paced gameplay of the original 6. It has the best play control alongside 4. I love the upgraded Mega Buster and the unique enemy dying sounds makes it a blast to play through.

Less of an optimal-ish run and moreso just playing the game at a relatively quick pace, but man. Mega Man 5 is surprisingly underrated. Very solid game all-around, and has the best OST of the NES Mega Man games. 6 has more enjoyable gameplay but #they can never make me hate 5

@hitochiwa I assume the re-release Samurai Shodown5SP should be the original release like MVS version. That would be said no sensor or un-sensor version

The way the BFG 9000 from Doom works was directly based off of Defender's Smart Bomb. John Carmack had created a weapon that shot hundreds of plasma balls in a cone-shape, bouncing off walls and ricocheting everywhere. The problem was that it hardly ever killed anything. To use it in battle you had to walk right up to your enemy and fire - this DID kill them, but even with only about a 10-15% cone, an enemy even a short ways off would only get hit with a couple of plasma balls for minor damage. In this case I got to be the hero, because I said, "We want the BFG to kill everything right? Let's have it work like the smart bomb." Everyone knew Defender, and then Johns Carmack and Romero and Adrian worked on bringing this to the real world. They had the idea that it would shoot a big ball of energy which would then explode and kill everything within view. They also added the weird "features" that if you didn't see it when it went off you were safe, that sort of thing. But that added to its charm. Anyway, the germ of the idea was mine, and they built brilliantly on that. Also, BFG stands for "Big Fun Gun" according to John Romero. That's canon.
