@Zion_cbn @_fefas Coming from a first class lawyer!! The one that annoys me the most is when people add it to a webinar flier!! Does it mean that if you didn’t make first class, people won’t listen to you??

There comes a point where you should take it off. You can leave it for now since it's still recent, but five years from now, what will matter is your reputation and capacity as a lawyer. No one will engage you or reach out to you because you graduated with a First Class. They will come to you because of the quality of your work and the expertise you've built. That is why it's important to carve out your niche as early as possible, so people know you for your competence rather than your academic record. My team lead taught me this lesson, and that's why I removed every reference to my First Class from my bio.

That post asking when people will finally remove “LL.B (First Class)” and “B.L (First Class)” from their bios… I wanted to quote it so badly. But I’ve chosen peace today. 😂
