@jameswillows @Feralman_Music @sE_Electronics Sure SM58 gets my vote too. As well as being perfect for live work, It's detailed enough to record with, pretty indestructible and not so expensive that you'll be worried about it sitting on a mic stand in a dodgy venue where gear can go "missing" 😀

@Feralman_Music @sE_Electronics Yeh I've only ever had one opinion on live vocal mic and it's the industry standard sm58. When you talk about subtle sounds, that comes down to your P.A and different compression, verbs etc... You'd struggle to tell the difference between a 58 and a £1000 live mic. 👍🏼

Help please, need some recommendations.
I use an @sE_Electronics T2 Mic for studio recording and need suggestions for a live Mic...I'm less concerned with robustness and more interested in it picking up subtle sounds. Any ideas?
