Like you can’t truly grasp how corrupt and awful the music business is until you’ve experienced up close. I too used to think it was a matter of get a lawyer and read your contract. But what do you do when your label is paying off your lawyer under the table to mislead you? Especially when you are an uneducated, impoverished person in survival mode. The entire system is inherently predatory.
