@stevew16 @UKRunChat @Letsgetrunning Yes - I think we mean the same thing. I think you're more likely to slow at the end of a marathon. Yeah, I enjoy them too!

@stevew16 @UKRunChat @Letsgetrunning Personally I think they're ok as a very rough ballpark of your potential, but they can be wrong by a few seconds (usually too fast because they don't really reflect the nature of endurance at the end of a marathon). Fun track session though if you don't take it TOO seriously!

@hjrbrandwood @UKRunChat @Letsgetrunning It's so much better to avoid injury or exhaustion, even if that means you've not yet reached your potential. Building steadily is the absolute best approach and so much less frustrating than getting injured! Good luck! :) x
