Just got a @dbrand laptop skin delivered. Was supposed to come with free playing cards. Package was opened, cards missing, with the little bag the cards came in crammed back into the sleeve. Ultimately, the skin was the main event here but why do ppl have to suck?

@mykola This resonates with my experience. I was raised by a single mother and I think a lot of my traits were filtered through and shaped by her lens

I don’t disagree with this in principle but honestly I have been having the “feminine”-coded experience of so many things my whole life it’s low-key frustrating to see things gendered like this. I have “female-presenting” autistic traits too. But I’m a cis dude.

@CerromeRussell Don’t disagree, many of us know it’s a fire hazard. Having said that, I’ve worked in some offices that are just freezing in the winter and I don’t want to wear a full on coat at my desk all day.

I work in facilities, HVAC and electrical. and now is the time of year I have to tell all office people to stop plugging in heaters under their desks. It's a fight every year lmao

@Deadcanons @CeleryPerson @yossipossi So true! I read HoL back when it first came out and have only in the last few years gotten into reading SCPs. Have never made that connection but HoL definitely reads like an SCP or SCPs read like HoL.

@CeleryPerson @yossipossi My first time reading HoL, I thought to myself, "This is exactly the same feeling I get from reading an SCP." It's the only piece of media outside of SCP that's ever made me feel that way.
