It's official now. I'm moving to Tokyo in late January. Sad I'll miss Battle Hardened Rio and leave our local #fabtcg community, that was a VERY hard call. 🥺 Hope to stay close to everyone in Brazil and that #fabjp brings the same joy this community gave me. 🥰

@sereneshireen I have to agree. And the website only lists CC and SAGE as constructed formats. Living Legend is under ‘Special Formats’ alongside UPF, Blitz, Team Constructed, etc. If I had to bet, SAGE likely takes over as the second premier constructed format and LL gets sidelined.

i think this is a big hit to chane and a very minor hit to vis but the big issue here is very clear floundering on a format that already didn't have a lot of buy-in, and didn't cultivate any buy-in this year. i fear this has permanently soured people on LL 😭

Who also have the biggest platforms. The broader player base seems to be enjoying more opportunity, even if they are talking about it less publicly. Take that as you will. Both signals have their own biases, and the trade-offs are worth discussing either way. (3/3) #fabtcg

The result was almost the exact opposite: so far 35 players voted the change as a net positive versus 2 (!) who saw it as a net negative. That actually makes sense. The players most affected by the limitation are the most competitive (2/3)

I’ve noticed a number of tweets criticizing the new PQ rule (champions being locked out of playing in PQs in the same season). Those posts mostly come from top-tier competitive players. Out of curiosity, I ran a quick poll in our large national group chat. (1/3)

I really wish @fabtcg were more transparent about event distribution. This year I helped my LGS host a 110 player Road to Nats with an English stream produced by the CBLOL team (Brazil's LoL league). Amazing event, yet next year we didn't get one. Same for many stores here. 😑

@ClarkJ_FAB To complement, this makes me believe there will be some sort of rotation. I'm not sure if it's an LL system. The release of decks in 'seasons' leans me towards 'seasonal' bans - each season have either a list of allowed or banned heroes. Might be very fun.

@ClarkJ_FAB From the card legality page on SAGE: “Heroes and signature weapons that have been rotated out of official tournament play (as of November 13, 2025, all common, rare, and basic young heroes will be legal to play. Information on SAGE hero legality will be announced at World (…)).”

@RogerB_MnR Trying to source 55 'bulk' cards would likely cost 20 bucks in shipping only (unless your LGS has a very large stock). A full competitive deck + sideboard + a booster seems fair for the price.

LSS could put $100 bills into packs, and people would complain that they were folded the wrong way.

@TheMadMech I think it's a fair price. Assuming reprint of hard to find common / rares and considering the booster, buying the cards online would likely cost more due to shipping. Will be better value if the box is usable as a deckbox and if there's pimp (maybe RF heroes?)

@TCG_TALK I don’t think it’s adult only organized play, as we’ll be having Silver Age Battle Hardeneds. I’m guessing SAGE takes over as premier young format? Do they introduce an LL system, maybe?

This is pretty unexpected! #fabtcg Is this in preparation for Project Blue to replace the format on a competitive level? Or a pivot to adult only formats for organized play?
