They will tell you the dollar is ‘stronger’ then complain about medical insurance for 30 minutes. Their accent don change by year 3 🤌🏾 🇬🇧 UK: The second largest and the most historic. Will tell you Pound is stronger than the US Dollar and look down on US Nigerians for it. Half the conversation is about HMRC, NHS waiting lists, COS and ILR. 🇨🇦 Canada: The fastest growing. Brampton is headquarters. Half the conversation is about PR and the other half is about taxes. 🇦🇺 Australia: Only 4,500 of them in the whole country. The flex is the distance. “Do you know how far I am from Lagos?” Yes oga we know. 🇮🇪 Ireland: The underdogs. Doing well quietly. Nobody talks about them and they like it that way. 🇩🇪 Germany: Speak two and a half languages and still confused. Salary fine. Tax brutal. Bureaucracy will humble you. 🇦🇪 Dubai: Always at brunch.
