In light of what's going on in the fandom, I wanted to share this. It might be the most important thing I wrote this week: Our fandom is fractured right now. ENGENEs disagree about what happened, what to believe, and what to do. That creates chaos on top of something that was already deeply painful. In these moments, it is easy to direct frustration at people who believe different things, or who are grieving differently, or who reach conclusions at different speeds. The echo chamber of Twitter amplifies all of it. Disagreement becomes more vicious. Fans turn on each other. And the members become casualties in fan wars they did not ask for. Please resist the temptation to be unkind to each other. The person who shared the post you are fact-checking was probably hurting and looking for answers, just like you. The person who believed an implausible theory was probably doing the same. Many of us are reading things in translation, or in second languages. Some ENGENEs are incredibly young — still in high school. They may not have the same information and world experience you have. Or maybe you are the young one, and you feel that others are simply not listening. We are all trapped in the nonlinear cycle of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, sadness, acceptance. For some, it may be the first time they are truly experiencing it. The way you experience grief changes from one day to another. You may wake up one day feeling acceptance, and the next furious again. You may start the morning off hopeful that you can change the situation, and end the day under crushing sadness. Be kind to other ENGENEs. Correcting misinformation does not require being unkind about the people who spread it. Moving forward in your own grief does not require being cruel to those who haven't. Processing your own grief through action does not require vilifying those who are discouraged or in a different stage. If our fandom is to heal and move forward to support every member of ENHYPEN, including Heeseung, we will need to become more grounded, more reasonable, more understanding of each other, and more kind. That is not a small thing to ask right now, but it may be the most important thing. To every ENGENE — Please continue sending your love and support to Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-Ki. They have asked for it, and they need it now more than ever.

Weverse is their only safe space, a place where they can interact with ENGENEs. They have not been active here on Twitter/X in a long time, and everyone knows that. That is why Weverse must remain a safe and comfortable space for them where they can connect with us. We are all working toward something, but that does not give anyone the right to overstep their boundaries. Templates, tags, and other posts can be shared across all social media platforms, directed to the proper accounts that need to see them, not on the members’ family accounts, staff accounts, producers, or unrelated artists’ accounts. We ask that Weverse be left alone, especially on the members’ posts and during live streams, particularly when all they want is to communicate with fans. What they need to see there are encouraging messages, appreciation, and reassurance. They do not need spam posts or reminders of what they are currently going through. Have some respect and shame. That is their space, so respect it.
