@DameKateePie Our Rongoā Māori Service has been around for five years and has supported over 19,000 of our kiritaki (clients) in their recovery from injury. Many of our kiritaki choose to access the holistic care rongoā Māori provides alongside other ACC services and treatments...

Why is it that Rongoa healers get paid by ACC when we all know it’s Māori mumbo jumbo? How can they heal a trimalleolar fracture for instance which requires plates & screws to stabilise it? Is the Gvt beholden to this bullshit and if so, why?

In New Zealand, taxpayers are forced to pay millions of dollars for 'Rongoa Maori' treatments that involve putting greenstone on people to "suck out all the toxins" (which is geologically impossible). Maorification has gone too far.
