you know, props to the people who still make edits, still do deep dives into music when its put out, and write fics & stuff, i feel like that keeps the integrity of being a fan of anything alive. especially in the age of ai

i miss when fandoms were about the things we love and share in common rather than the things people hate

I hope these boys know that there is still such a large group of people that are so incredibly thankful for them and their portrayal of two characters that mean so much to so many people. We really don’t know how lucky we are to have two people that love and respect the source material as much as the fans do. It’s almost laughable how some people can claim to love a show like Heated Rivalry, a queer story rooted in confronting racism and homophobia and then turn around and direct that same racist and homophobic rhetoric at its two lead actors. If you can’t grasp the most basic points of the show, maybe don’t be here for season 2. Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie there is so much love for you both and I hope that isn’t being drowned out by the hate.
