There’s been so much noise lately, so much negativity going around…and honestly, it’s overwhelming. But in the middle of all that, I keep going back to him, to Heeseung and the mindset he chooses to live by. He once said, “There’s no need to waste your energy on negative things.” 
And as much as I want to keep holding onto those words, I know it’s not always easy. We’re human. We feel things deeply, especially when it comes to someone we care about. But if there’s one thing Heeseung has always shown us, it’s quiet strength. The way he carries himself with calm, with kindness, with intention, even when things aren’t perfect. He doesn’t meet negativity with more negativity. He chooses to stay grounded in who he is. So maybe that’s what we can do too. Not ignore what hurts, but choose not to let it take over us. Let’s protect our peace the way he protects his. Let’s focus on the love and the music that made us stay. And if it gets hard, we can go back to his words again, gently reminding ourselves that we don’t have to give our energy to things that don’t deserve it. ofc i would’ve preferred if there were no hate directed at him. but when it comes to his career, it doesn’t bother me. i’ve watched him for a long time so i have an idea of what he’s capable of as an artist. i know he’s going to make a lot of things that people can easily love!

one of the reasons why he went with evan is because he wants to go back to his roots— which is music. his love for music has always been what fueled his every move. if you think he’s doing everything just for numbers and streams and whatnots, then you truly don’t know him at all.
