2 hours and 23 minutes is a long time to talk. Poilievre was "charming" and laid back, but as we've seen, his stories often shift depending on the audience.
Whether it’s the half-truths about the Swiss economy or the misleading context used to describe Canada's MAID program, the substance often takes a backseat to the slogan. Being a "straight-talker" means being consistent with the facts—even when the border changes.
The Joe Rogan interview showed a leader who is a master of the "curated truth." He’s a hawk in the House of Commons, but a dove in Austin. He’s a Bitcoin believer in a shawarma shop, but a "crypto sleeper" on the world's biggest podcast.
I have my own opinions on these policies, but this thread isn't about that. It’s about a pattern of messaging. If the facts change depending on who is listening, it raises the ultimate question: Who is the real Pierre Poilievre?
