The only type of atheist I respect is one that is consumed with nihilism. At least he has the courage to face the monster that haunts his dogmatism.

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

If someone argues that a former promiscuous woman is "damaged goods" and questions whether a Christian young man should marry her, remember Rahab. She was a Canaanite prostitute but became a mother in the lineage of Jesus. God redeemed her, cleansed her, and Salmon married her.

It's extremely disheartening to watch a generational opportunity to permanently reshape the Overton Window be pissed away for the sake of regime change on behalf of a foreign government. I get the feeling that Trump gradually abandoned large parts of his domestic agenda because of the numerous obstacles he encountered at every turn. Endless sabotage from the civil service, a near-total lack of willingness to rock the boat by Congressional Republicans, and nationwide court injunctions preventing him from even taking a piss outside the White House all culminated in Trump essentially concluding that the only things he could truly have an impact on were found outside America's borders. And impact them he did. I'm not one of those people who sees this and immediately decides to pick up the idiot ball in response to it all. I'm never going to go out there and claim that we need to now start voting Democrat or that there hasn't been anything positive from Trump 2.0. There has been, and anyone trying to pretend otherwise is either a fool or a liar. And that's what makes this so tragic. There ARE things, enormous things, that were accomplished over the past year. Shutting down US Aid, eliminating over 300,000 Federal jobs, net negative migration for the first time in 50 years...all of these are things that we didn't believe were even possible just a few short years ago. It's just a shame that instead of going further, there is now a very real possibility that Trump's remaining political capital is going to be burned away on Iran. The Senate isn't going to pass the SAVE Act, there won't be any substantive Congressional actions to speak of between now and the election because Republicans don't know how to wield power, Democrats will flip the House and probably pick up one or two seats in the Senate, and Trump's remaining two years in office could very well be consumed by war and Leftist institutional sabotage that will have spread beyond the bureaucracy and courts and into Congress itself. All of this will culminate in them attempting to reclaim a trifecta in 2028, where they'll re-open the border, re-staff the bureaucracy, re-fund their NGOs, and reset the clock back to 2021. A decade will have been lost at a time when the hour is already late.

This is why we can't have nice things. @nickshirleyy I don't know you personally, and everyone makes mistakes. I hope that's all this is. I hope you see how utterly foolish and bankrupt this path is. I hope you don't get into the quagmire of groyper nonsense. If you have any interest in understanding what I am talking about or where I'm coming from, I would love to talk. If you don't have time for that, then please just hear this: There is a whole host of folks who think that it's ok to demonize Jews, and they are wrong. They are losing their souls and their minds, and it would be really sad if you joined them. Don't.

To whoever thought it would be funny to fill the package on their porch with EXPIRED MILK, I’ve already contacted the police. I opened what looked like a normal package in my car and it exploded. Rotten milk all over my seats, carpet, clothes, door panels. The smell hit instantly. Absolutely foul. This wasn’t a harmless prank. This was deliberate property damage. Expired milk doesn’t just “air out.” It soaks in. It curdles. It stains. It lingers. Now my car smells like a dairy farm dumpster in July and I can’t even drive it without gagging. So yes, someone is going to be paying for professional detailing and any damages, because I refuse to live with sour milk baked into my interior. Hope the five seconds of laughter was worth it.
