@AuschwitzMuseum Happy Birthday Ceija! The @ACFNY opened an exhibition on Ceija Stojka on May 23, 2023, the day which would have been her 90th birthday. The exhibition is comprised of 90 paintings and drawings of her and is on display at the @ACFNY until Sep. 25th. acfny.org/exhibition/wha…

23 May 1933 | An Austrian Romani woman, Ceija Stojka (Margarete Horvath-Stojka), was born in Kraubath. In #Auschwitz from 31 March 1943 No. Z-6399 She survived Auschwitz, Ravensbrück and Bergen-Belsen. An artist - painter, writer and singer. She passed away in 2013.
