Not going to share any personal details. Just want to highlight how perception is different from reality. This is not to support any political party or leader. Want to let you know things are not as they look. In 2013, my client who was professionally working for Rahul Gandhi suggested my name to him to handle his mutual fund investments. From 2013, when UPA 2 was in power to till date when Vijay was sworn in with Congress support, Rahul continues to be my client for mutual fund investments. We have exchanged many mails and has spoken over phone lot of times. And as you are aware, I've been a strong Modi supporter from 2014 to 2024. Never once Rahul or his office staff brought that subject to me. I believe my tweets are regularly seen by his staff. They clearly differentiate between my professional service and political beliefs. And in every single conversation I've with Rahul, he addresses me with respect and never behaved in any haughty manner. Despite knowing my BJP support, he took my input few years ago for choosing a key professional . This post may lead to Rahul terminating our professional relationship. That's ok. Everything should end one day. Wanted to post this to show how main stream media and IT cells of parties can make someone look completely inhuman. I do not know Rahul Gandhi as a politician. Based on last 14 years interaction, all I can say is he respect professionals a lot and a nice human being to interact with. Don't go by media or IT cells - for any party that matter.

@passportsevamea @MEABharat I applied for passport in May 25; it was put on hold due to inadequate address proof. I could not take an appointment within 90 days and assumed that my application would have expired. I again applied for passport in Tatkal category with address proof as the address in my husband’s passport. However, this time I was told that since my previous application is still open, I will have to first get it closed and then only the new application can be processed. I got it closed and returned on the appointed date on 5th May. I expected to get priority as I had applied in Tatkal category. However, I was told that since my application was put on hold, I could no longer avail Tatkal associated benefits. My application was treated as ordinary, it would only be issued after physical police verification and it can’t be delivered in two days. I went across to the police station, the inspector came along to my residence and gave a new bombshell. He said that the address in my husband’s passport can’t be used as address proof for police verification. Totally hilarious, so to say! While my husband’s address in his passport was accepted as address proof for processing my application, the inspector said that in Maharashtra it is not acceptable by the CID. I feel it’s a nexus to earn illegal money. While I have already lost 3.5k for no fault of mine, I don’t know how exactly I will finally get a re-issue passport. @rpomumbai PS: Written on behalf of my wife as she does not have paid subscription.

I have come to a point in life where i can afford a Mercedes GLE or something of that range. . But at this point i have realised that instead of buying 1 crore car , i rather buy 2-3 cars worth 40 lakhs each - and keep 2 drivers for atleast 5 years. Which would help me and my family to enjoy in a better way. . Wt say?

What will didi do now? She can't go to the Assembly because she lost the election. If she makes one of her MLAs resign to fight a bypoll, Suvendu Adhikari will stand against her and defeat her for the third time. She can't ask any of her Rajya Sabha MPs to resign and make way for her because she no longer has a majority in the Bengal Assembly, and BJP would snatch that seat if fresh Rajya Sabha elections are held due to resignation. She can't go to the Lok Sabha either till at least 2029. So where will she go after getting up every day?
