i wonder y a stage performance is so easily equated w who an artist rlly is irl —in the end it’s all a performance. example if an actor plays a scene where he hits a woman - if he plays a murderer a disturbed psychopathic character even a rapist would u believe he’s like that off-screen too? obviously not. so a stage performance is no different. it’s a form of artistic expression, not a reflection of someone’s true character. if u don’t like a movie u can choose not to watch it. if u can’t accept a performance u can simply skip it. but that doesn’t give u the right to impose judgments or define an artist’s personality based on a role or a performance. what i’m tryna say is:don’t jump to conclusions. art isn’t always about right or wrong within a fixed standard. it depends on perspective & personal perception. this is not blind defense. if the artists i support actually behaved inappropriately irl i would be the first to speak up but obviously he has never done that. if u can find me a real example of him disrespecting women off stage i would bow my head but when everything exists only within a performance then it should be seen for what it is -a part of art nothing more nothing less. if u keep thinking this way, then u’d have to hate almost every actor who has ever played a villain. if u want just hate the character not the artist. if u’re truly cursing him over that performance while claiming to stand up for feminism & the female dancers then that’s honestly contradictory-even a bit laughable. bc before stepping on stage all of them had already willingly accepted their work in a professional way. everything was rehearsed constructed aligned & carried out by professional artists who clearly understand their work. they r doing what they love & getting paid for it. support feminism but don’t turn it into toxic feminism—where u claim to protect women while actually denying their choices their voices their professionalism. if u say he’s a BL actor so he’s not allowed to do this, then that makes even less sense. we talk every day ab fighting for a fair world—where everyone is equal w/o discrimination based on gender religion skin color continent & so on. so why is it that many artists around the world can perform like this but he can’t? a BL actor is still an artist like any other. he still has the right to take on roles work w female partners & explore different kinds of performances. we talk ab equality yet u r the one drawing lines & limiting what someone is “allowed” to do. don’t put labels on anyone & then use those labels to restrict them—let them be professional in their own acting careers. as for me after watching that performance for 2 days what i saw was precision beauty & strong coordination from everyone on stage. it clearly showed how hard they practiced & how professionally they worked together—nothing about it was random or out of control & honestly Dunk deserves to be praised here he was genuinely impressive in that performance from his presence to his control on stage. saying he ruined or disrespected the original song—that has no real basis. there r choreographers, a production team & even the original song’s owner directly watched the performance. if u have basic knowledge, u should understand that for something like this to be performed the company must purchase the rights & get approval from all related paảties & claiming that everything was his idea or that he choreographed it himself to express his true self or personal desires toward women—that’s even more unreasonable. i’ve followed him for 5years have never seen him choreograph even a single move so saying he created an entire performance for that purpose sounds forced & honestly ridiculous & if after all of this u still choose to hate him then maybe just be honest & say “i hate u so everything u do is disgusting despicable in my eyes”bc there is simply no valid reason to judge or hate a person based on a stage performance that lasts ab 4mins
