@acidtrak Yeah word i think back in the day piracy was almost a necessity especially in the hip-hop adjacent space cause niggas didnt have expendable income to be buying multiple albums, but the concept of streaming which built upon plats like limewire really fed into convenience culture

the people complaining about having to pay money for this new LF album don’t realise how easy they have got it these days. It’s ungrateful to complain abt this shit especially if it’s an artist you willingly support and appreciate, this is how it was with vinyl, tape & CD 🤷🏻♂️

@bellastateside @octaneispetrol well essentially balamii are a community radio, in the early vlap days joe was using their studio as a space for his own platform. He now has his own studio for this stuff and stopped using them - maybe they upped their fee on the studio space or did joe wrong? Maybe bought out
