I just walked through our CVICU @UofUHealth. Rounds being run by superstar @aciulloMD. ICU team had ~10 people. Nurses, therapists, residents, fellows, students, respiratory. EVERYONE WAS A WOMAN!! (except 1 pharmacist) 😀 #heforshe #empoweringgirls #womenpower

Attention Crit Care Transport programs! I know a lot of programs do ECMO trans. What programs fly a dedicated team out, cannulate at an OSH, and come back with the pt on pump? Team composition? Asking for a friend.... @AMPAdocs @NAEMSP @SCCM_EM @AleBaezMD @acepccmsection

@kshekar01 A trial should be done once a system knows how to deploy a complex therapy. These trials are easier to do for pharmaceuticals or single point interventions but ecpr is a system of care and has to be established and exist first before it can be tested . My opinion of course
