90% of the time you’re going to question if your efforts will pay off. 10% of the time they’ll feel like they are. How long can you continue to persist through the resistance that life is guaranteed to bring? A lot of things can change in 6 years…

90% of the time it’s going to feel like it’s not working. 10% of the time it will feel like it is. 90% of the time you’re going to be confused. 10% of the time you’ll have it figured out. 90% of the time you’re not going to want to do the work. 10% of the time you will.

If the answer is yes — be patient. If the answer is no — change the work. Consistency compounds. Show up.

Ask yourself two questions: 1. Is the work I’m doing each day capable of producing the results I want? 2. If I did this work consistently for 10 years, would it get me where I want to go?

To become the man in the arena, you have to step into the arena every single day. You don’t become who you want to be by thinking about it. You become that person by waking up and doing the work — daily.
