Today, we are in court with @PPGreatPlains and @ppgreatrivers asking a judge to block the enforcement of Missouri's abortion ban and several medically unnecessary restrictions that prevented Missourians from receiving abortion care.

Missouri voter advocates condemned a ruling Monday by Cole County Circuit Court upholding a law that unconstitutionally burdens Missouri voters by further restricting Missouri’s photo ID requirements to vote. We will appeal. @ProtectVotersMO @MissouriNAACP @LeagueMissouri

A Circuit Court has refused to halt enforcement of Missouri’s discriminatory law that bars transgender adolescents from receiving gender-affirming medical care & prohibits Medicaid coverage for gender-affirming medical care for transgender people of any age. We will appeal.

Missourians value our liberty. If, and when, state actors try to further use the power of the government to target communities with oppressive restrictions, we will be there to fight back. At the ACLU of Missouri, we show up and fight for the liberty of all people.

Yesterday, Missourians voted to protect reproductive freedom. Today, we filed a lawsuit with our friends at @PPGreatPlains and @ppgreatrivers to restore access to abortion rights.

If you are not allowed to vote or need assistance, call or text the nonpartisan Election Protection Hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683).

Your vote is your voice. Voting is the cornerstone of our democracy and the fundamental right upon which all our civil liberties rest.  Be a voter.

If you requested an absentee ballot to vote by mail and forgot to mail it back, you can return it in-person to your local election authority. It must be submitted by 7 p.m. on November 5th to count. Contact your local election authority for more information.
