March 19, 2024 ACOVSD will be closed. The High Schools will serve as polling sites-the Jr High doors will unlock at 6:00am. More information was released in the paper and at boe.ohio.gov -precinct and polling locations tab.

ACOVSD has the following two reminders: 1. Friday, March 15, there is no school for elementary students and a one hour early dismissal for high school students. 2. Tuesday , March 19, Election Day-all Adams County schools will be closed.

On Friday, January 12th, all elementary teachers participated in professional development activities and had a productive day of learning. They enjoyed meeting with other teachers across the district and sharing ideas and resources.

District Bound - West Union High School Ladies Golf

The district wide Opening Convocation was a huge success. Mrs. Dawn Wallace, new ACOVSD Superintendent, gave an uplifting school year kick-off speech.

Teachers participated in high quality Professional Development this week to get ready for new initiates at the elementary buildings.

ACOVSD hosted New Teacher Orientation last week. We have several new teachers and administrators this year!

NAHS and OVCTC FFA students were recognized at the June board meeting for their team and individual accomplishments in FFA. There were several teams and individuals who placed within the top 10 in the state.

This is a reminder about Discovery Camp which begins tomorrow! Go to our district website, ovsd.us, for more details! The first camp begins June 6th and runs through June 8th and the second camp runs June 13th-15th.

It is graduation weekend for the Adams County Ohio Valley Schools. All graduation ceremonies will be live-streamed on the district YouTube channel @acovsd/live" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@acovsd/live Starting today, NAHS at 4 pm, WUHS at 7 pm, and PHS on Sunday at 2 pm.
