Just wanted to let y’all know: this is peak cloth right now. Maybe the new PMM pad could beat the feel (haven’t tried it), but honestly nothing I can think of even comes close. @jakeufps @ZerkGamingMods just looking for a raiden replacement mostly. i love how smooth the raiden is so i was wondering if the s2p or pd170 is closer in texture to the raiden

@acrazyr @ZerkGamingMods it's every so slightly more textured, not as buttery smooth as a PD170 so far I've only had tracking issues with the Hero 2 sensor on this surface if you want a cloth pad that's similar to glass in speed, the S2P QE is def. the way to go

I don't know who needs to see this, but if you're into speed pads and/or ever wanted something that's a bit faster than an Artisan Raiden MID, you absolutely need to check out the upcoming PMM S2P QE It's very quickly becoming my favorite "hard" speed pad of all time...

@tekkusai How would you say they fare on the Phantom? I hate dot skates but my favorite mice doesn't have aftermarket skates so I'm trying to find nice dot skates on the bigger side. What other skates do they compare to?

These are dropping today. Ships almost anywhere in the world at the same price. Shipping takes a few weeks, but it includes duties & taxes, and grabbing 2-3 packs will not change the shipping cost. Best skates I've used on glass so far.

@b1rcch that’s fair. i’ve personally not had issues with blacks appearing purple

@acrazyr Thats fair, but that does mean, when you are watching or playing a game with a darker scene, under the same conditions, the black colors will be purple ish. Id rather go with woled personally

Anyone with a glossy OLED monitor, how bad are the reflections, i.e. do you notice and what affects it most? I am thinking of purchasing the asus 280hz woled model.

@b1rcch never had lights make the screen look purple. it only looks purpleish when the monitor is off

@acrazyr There are some qd oled options that are similar in price to the one I am getting, but I think I wont like the fact that lights make the screen look purple

@Plerto_ @ro84940_3 if you have a card that supports dp2.1 uhbr20 then yea it shouldn’t have DSC. i was annoyed by dsc at first but i just play windowed fullscreen on everything now and it got rid of the stupid alt tab black screen for a few seconds problem. oled is incredible

@ro84940_3 Yeah my eyes have been a bit knackered recently. I feel like dyac2 may be the cause of it on my 400hz zowie but not sure. But yeah this is newest gen oled (if I’m not mistaken) apparently doesn’t have DSC issues which was a bummer last time I used oled.

Time to try OLED again
