Last Saturday we welcomed activists from our Black Leadership Programme for the session 'Self Care as an act of Defiance' facilitated by @EzChigbo from @actbuildchange. The group included activists from various African countries who enriched the conversation by sharing diverse perspectives and experiences. During the session, they explored the importance of aligning activism with their personal circumstances and the need of establishing physical and emotional boundaries to sustain long-term engagement in advocacy work.
