FINAL: Cherokee 76, Pamlico County 15 The Braves cap off the 3-peat with perhaps the most dominant win of the dynasty, taking down the Hurricanes with a second-half running clock. Madison Rogers had 25 and Joscelyn Stamper added a double-double. Braves are on top again.

🏀More basketball playoffs🏀 I’m at Reynolds for a 6A third round matchup between Reynolds (20-6) and Charlotte Catholic (14-13). Spotty service here, so I’ll update as I can. @acthshuddle:

I’m here for the NCHSAA 4A second round playoff game between No. 7 Pisgah and No. 10 West Stokes. At the end of the first quarter, it’s tied 10-10. @acthshuddle

FINAL: McDowell 68, Davie County 42 Titans stepped on the gas late to run away with this game. Joyner finished with a game-high 21 points. Corpening added 15. Titans will play the winner of No. 14 Weddington and No. 3 North Mecklenburg at the higher seed.

Final: Pisgah defeats Salisbury 79-44. The Bears move on to the third round on Saturday.
