Some great pearls: 1. Identity does not = pathology 2. Alert radiology when sending a trans patient, and be specific about what you are looking for (eg ovarian cyst in a transmale). Poor experience in DI is the most common ED complaint from trans patients. (2/3)

@DennisCho @lorkus17 @TChanMD I find a useful bedside tool to work around the dreaded “GCS 8 intubate” that learners get stuck on is a good old fashioned gag test with the suction yonker. Any other #tricksofthetrade?

@lorkus17 Hmm… I've always wondered - an expert can stand at the end of the bed and figure out whether someone needs a tube. It's instant integration of an entire clinical picture. I bet most #experts don't formally calculate a GCS. @TChanMD
