I’m still not convinced Chelsea FC can win a silverware this season.
The performance against Barcelona last night was very positive, but it doesn’t change the fact that they’re a team with many flaws.
A well-organized Barcelona side with Pedri in the middle of the park would have controlled the game much better, and they would have beaten Chelsea’s high press easily.
Barcelona without Pedri is like a chopper without rotor blades.
Let’s wait until Sunday when they face an organized team like Arsenal. If they manage to win that game, then I might reconsider my opinion.

With these defensive profiles, Chelsea are nowhere near competing at the highest level. 3) INEXPERIENCE/AVERAGE PLAYERS Chelsea are in a rebuilding phase with several young and inexperienced players forming the core of the team. Players like Palmer, Delap, João Pedro, Estêvão, Neto, Gittens, Fernández, Caicedo, Colwill, and Fofana and even the manager Maresca lack significant top level experience. Their only truly experienced player is Reece James, and that alone is not enough to carry the team to success. I urge every Chelsea fan to calm down and wake up from their slumber, because this current Chelsea squad is not capable of challenging experienced sides like Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool for the league title, and they are very likely to end the season without a trophy.
