This happens way too often. Some kids are rewarded not for learning, but their compliance and knowing how to do “school” well while others have their grades lowered not due to learning but other circumstances. Unfortunately we’ve placed more value on grades than learning. #edchat

However students are showing up in virtual learning is OK. Thank them for their participation. Appreciate their contributions. Stop thinking about grading. Start thinking about connecting and engaging. Keep trying. Might take all year. Students need to see your relentless love.
