@actuallyitsyou Yep! The said on the phone basically that they're idiots and sent this to everyone, regardless of the application status. They told me if it says it was submitted in the portal, then it was, and that's that.

Did anyone else receive an "our records indicate you have started an application that has not been completed or submitted" email from SBA tied to an email that DEFINITELY submitted an SVOG application? #svog

@WayneTheMurray Qualification visit. So transactional and not very thoughtful fundraising — as though 30 minutes with someone can actually uncover their philanthropic perspective and potential connection to your org.

As well as many structures and processes being outdated, a lot of fundraising lingo needs to change too. Acquisition? Conversion? Lapsed? Upgrade? Major Donor? Value exchange? These are human beings! What other phrases need to get in the bin?
