@jussttjenniferr There are a handful of them, but Yellowface is the first to come to mind! Which is kind of shocking, given I didn't enjoy The Poppy War 😅

@ooctopusv Blood Over Bright Haven is amazing! Watermoon was one of my top reads last year. If you’re into Y/A books then I would recommend Don’t Let the Forest In, it was very interesting and different than my normal reads, and kept me on my toes!

I’ve read 30 books this year and only had 3 five stars……….. Please drop some of your perfect five star reads IM DESPERATE

@emhoneyreads i am in a bookclub and there is defo no pressure to read the book of the month- but obvi if you come to the meeting then there will be spoilers. i struggle with reading something someone tells me on a timeline as well but it helps that i have the entire month 🤷‍♀️

“Oh, you love to read? You should join our book club!” But you see the problem is I don’t want to be told what to read, because then I automatically don’t want to read it.
