🎉 To myself: Congratulations, Fr. Lucian! 🙌 What a beautiful journey it has been — from the rigorous days in the seminary, through formation, discernment, and countless moments of grace. Today, my heart overflows with joy as I step into this sacred calling as a newly ordained priest. Deo Gratias! ✝️ #NewlyOrdained #Priesthood #SeminaryLife #OrdinationDay #FatherLucian

1. There are disciples: very many. The crowds of people who decided to follow him. 2. There are apostles: those who were closer to him. Those who were sent. They are also many, but smaller than the number of the disciples. This also includes The Twelve, the people who were with Jesus from his baptism to his ascension, and those who had great encounters with him. Paul, Silas,Timothy, Barnabas, James (a relation of Jesus) are examples of apostles. All Apostles were Disciples, but not all Disciples were Apostles. The Twelve: This is the inner caucus. Out of all those hundreds of disciples, Jesus hand-picked 12 specific men to be his closest companions. After Judas died, one of the 'apostles' (Mathias) was chosen to replace him. Paul was not among the 12.
Uche is a girl@UcheMaryOkoli

I have a theological question to ask to my Catholics here, and I'd appreciate all of the responses I'd get, please. What is the difference between disciples and apostles?? Jesus had disciples and apostles. What were the differences, please????

Holy Thursday mass is actually a very beautiful mass🥹 let me give your this perspective from a chorister who lives in Nigeria. The entrance hymn is “priestly people, Kingly people, Holy people….” Think of it as the “Happy birthday song” for priests because Holy Thursday

1. Good evening my people. I hope today's stress was manageable. May God continue to bless your efforts. You shall eat the fruit of your labour. Omoo. Oya bring chair and small suya 🍖 🍖 make we gist this correct gist 😂. 2. Fear relationship people. You hear wetin I talk?👂 Fear relationship people. Someone will take his or her time to plan to cheat and when they are caught they'll say it was an accident. My dear, Jesus did not just end up on the cross by accident, his entire life was a deliberate mission of love. 3. You'll see someone very well dressed. You'll try to get close to them, only to hear that their best soup is Egusi. Smh. From the second he was born (the Incarnation), Jesus had one goal: doing what his Father asked. He didn't see his mission as a chore. He described doing God’s will as his food. It’s what kept him going. Every choice he made was a way of saying, "I love my Father, and I love the world." I love that man ❤️❤️. 4. Jesus didn’t try to dodge the difficult stuff, just like many women like to dodge accountability. Even when things got intense toward the end, he didn't ask to be saved from his fate. He knew that the reason he became human in the first place was to go through that hour of suffering to save everyone else. 5. John the Baptist called Jesus the Lamb of God. Like a lamb led quietly to sacrifice, he took on everyone’s mistakes without putting up a fight. Just like the lamb in the Old Testament saved the Israelites from death, Jesus is seen as the ultimate sacrifice that sets people free from sin. 6. You have done well to have read this thus far. May God continue to renew your strength. Please hit the retweet button so that others can enjoy this gist. Your own no go spoil.

I used to fall sick almost every month, then I started taking Vitamin C 1,000 mg and magnesium at least three times a week. Now I cannot remember the last time I treated malaria. This is the healthiest i have been in such a long time.

this is how labour progresses. mothers should know they can be 10cm for 1 hr or longer. women should be told they can be 10cm and still have a c-section. do you know why?... if you know, tell me.
