Everything points to a couple that's growing before finding their way back to each other, not one that's being written apart, that's why it's pretty obvious to me they'll end up together. Not just bc they're still in love, but bc the narrative keeps pointing in that direction

If the goal was to separate them for good, why keep developing Mai? Why emphasize that she cares abt the Fire Nation's future too and give her traits that fit the role of Fire Lady so well? +

Tbh I've always found it funny when ppl use the comics as proof that Mai & Zuko won't end up together, when those same comics show how much they still miss each other and still care abt each other + #Maiko
