We witnessed one of the most amazing moments you'll ever see at a high school event tonight at Schneider Arena.
Colin Dorgan, who lost his mother, brother & grandfather in the Lynch Arena shooting last month, scores a 2OT game-winner to send his team to the @RIIL_sports D-II championship game.
Incredible resilience from this young man & this BVS team.
Fortunate to call this emotional moment with Marty Crowley tonight on the NFHS Network.

I used to like Pitchfork until I grew up and realized liking things wasn’t actually unsophisticated and their unearned gatekeeping decayed the culture. And their writing was more overwrought and bad than any music they criticized.

This band peaked exactly when Pitchfork was at its apex in terms of deciding taste and the website basically destroyed their careers by tearing their debut album apart after hyping up their EP for months.

He skates in significantly more confined environment both by dimension and 5 other people actively trying to slow him down. On an unimpeded 400M track he’d be a complete menace.

Romantically I loved the idea of Drury, but he inherited a team ready for an ECF with a Vezina trophy guy, Norris guy, MVP caliber guy, 50 goal guy, 1 and 2 overall guys

I don’t understand the 4 on 4 regroup in the neutral zone when you’ve got 2 guys below the goal line and you’re not out yet. 3 on 3 really made people overthink things.

@captain9nyr @mikaliss_ The 4th line LW is now their 1st line RW. Solid place to start. The 1st line LW had 40 that year. I’ve never heard of Dowling. But maybe he/Carrick are better down the middle than Wennberg/Goodrow. Maybe Brodzinski/Raddysh is better than Chytil/Kakko. I suspect not, though.

According to a source, #NYR will be recalling Brett Berard, Anton Blidh and Justin Dowling. They're also placing Conor Sheary on LTIR and sending Brennan Othmann back to AHL Hartford. They needed to demote Othmann to make the cap work due to his bonus structure.

They went to two conference finals and won a Presidents Trophy since that moment. I think it was some other things.

Adam Fox did not make the U.S. Olympic team. Heard New York Rangers personnel involved with Team USA - GM Chris Drury, coach Mike Sullivan, assistant David Quinn - all pushed very hard for Fox, but they understood the decision especially given depth USA has on D.
