Appalling from Liverpool. Worked so hard to get into a commanding position & a lack of concentration means they have it all to do again. If they don't win from here, the manager will get a lot of stick but he can't legislate for professional footballers making such costly errors.

@adamjoseph The team that won the title was at its climax. It was not one in the ascendancy. Liverpool’s team has changed since then. And the fact that they’ve bought the players they have, regardless of the price, shows it’s a team that is now in development.

Liverpool are not a team in transition. They won the title & dropped £446.5 million on Isak, Wirtz, Ekitike, Kerkez, Frimpong & Leoni, the biggest spend of any club in history & broke the English transfer record.. twice. No club gets protected in the media like Liverpool do.

I don’t get it. Why are the councils using our money to fund protesters? It’s like they’re trying to cause a massive divide on purpose. That’s not what we pay our taxes for. We should be spending that money on making our towns better like fixing roads, cleaning streets, helping people. @AnfieldEdition The question should be: does it make sense for LFC to spend a club transfer record on Isak? I think the club can be justified in doing so. The money is available, it won’t put the club in an economic precarious situation, and Isak will improve LFC’s chances of further success.
