@FiPanther The nearest university to me that a lot of my friends were going to didn't seem to have any Astronomy staff. So I decided I didn't want to go there and chose Macquarie instead because it has an Astronomy undergraduate degree.

Question for my physics/astrophysics followers at all career stages: when selecting where to study as an undergrad, did what the university offered or excelled at in research sway your decision on picking a uni?

Just got to spend a lovely Friday evening at Perth airport. Got an $8 voucher I couldn't use anywhere as thanks for waiting 3 hrs for a delayed flight. Only then to enjoy having a cancelled flight >1 hour later. Now I get to go home and do it all again at 3am tomorrow morning...

Two weeks in a row now we have finished the night with an extremely tense and close Poppygander Blood on the Clocktower game (@BloodClocktower). It think Poppygander is fast becoming my favourite custom script to play in person. 😈

Just got to speak with a bunch of 5-6 year olds about the Sun and if it is alive and they had lots of amazing questions.

With a new headshot, it's probably about time I updated my profile picture to something taken after 2019.
