Atlanta just narrowed Park Cannon’s seat to two candidates. One wants to legalize rent control and ban corporate landlords. The other wants “responsible affordable housing development.” These are not the same thing.

He’s calling El-Sayed extreme in a state where the majority of Democratic voters say AIPAC money is a disqualifier. Someone is out of touch with the base. It isn’t El-Sayed of Graham. And that you are in Oklahoma and seeing how republican rule has destroyed the state, makes your statement even more ridiculous.

If Democrats can’t reject extremism in Michigan and Maine, we don’t deserve the Senate. Politics without principle is craven opportunism. And if we’re willing to excuse anything to win, then what exactly are we winning for?

Prices are up, people are getting by with gig work, ICE is kidnapping Texans, and Paxton's opening message is that Talarico is effeminate. Not sure MAGA's sadistic cruelty motivates with Trump at 60% disapproval. Talarico's Christian kindness thing serves as a stark contrast.

I genuinely fear that when Talarico is leading Paxton on election night governor hot wheels will send in the national guard to seize the ballots and I'm not even kidding.

In the open seat TX HD 41 Democratic runoff, Julio Salinas (who was endorsed by Bernie Sanders) has defeated Seby Haddad (the conservadem Hidalgo County machine candidate) — in what might be a sign of a changing of the guard in Rio Grand Valley Democratic political power dynamics. This is a Trump +2 / Biden +13 / 84% Latino district. It’ll be an interesting test case of whether a populist progressive can win a swing district.
