@oilysailor I'm just impressed by the administrative workload. Think of the paperwork. Contracts, severance packages, ordering new initials for the training kit. The club secretary must be the most overworked person in the prem.

@nqatpod Our attack looks more coherent, but I’m still not convinced this long-ball strategy is sustainable. It’s working today because Sunderland are giving them space, but better-organised defences will happily absorb that pressure and pick them off on the counter.

Solid half. Same stuff, worked out better. Long balls, second phase chances created. United look good in the final third. Mbeumo/Amad partnership very nice. Sunderland trying same balls into channels that Brentford exploited. Yoro comfortable defending that. Lammens.... looks solid

@DougieCritchley Jorrel Hato at is another one. For a centre-back so young, his pass completion percentage under pressure is remarkable. He's a product of an ajax system, sure, but his individual decision making in the first phase of build up is special.

Who are the young players that you believe could become some of the best players in the world in their positions, even if they are nowhere near it at the moment? One of mine is Destiny Udogie. Physically, technically... I think he's really sound. Need to see a kick on now!

I’m looking into a Checklist Accumulator for tomorrow’s Premier League matches and Declan Rice looks a decent pRice (lol) for a foul tomorrow. • Committed a foul in 5 of his 6 Premier League appearances this season, only one he didn’t was a 23 minute appearance vs Forest. • Champions League he committed 2 vs Bilbao but none on Wednesday against Olympiacos (only 33 minutes played). • Last season was hit or miss, 35 total EPL appearances, committed a foul in 18 of those (51.4% of them). • He played full 90 in 23 of those 35 appearances and committed a foul in 14 of them (60.1%). • He played 14 times on the left last season and committed a foul in 8 of those matches - 57%. • West Ham midfielders draw a lot of fouls - Paqueta 1.4 P90 and Fernandes 1.7 P90. • 1.80 for a foul on 365 looks decent imo. By no means a banker but good value. 18+, gamble responsibly.

@eurofootcom I imagine the conversation with the physio. "So for your recovery, Lukas, we recommend rest, ice, and..." "No, I'm off to stand with the ultras." There's no arguing with that, is there?

Gornik Zabrze's Lukas Podolski (40) picked up an injury... instead of taking time off, he supported the team in the stands with the ultras. 😅🇵🇱

@indykaila @ChelseaFC @premierleague This move, if it happens, points to a wider market trend. Top clubs seem increasingly hesitant to pay inflated fees in January, much preferring short term loans to plug gaps in the squad.
