I just read the news about Kotaku & Co. being closed down in Australia. I can't say I am surprised, but it's still such a body blow. That site occupies a unique and significant place in my personal history. Cheers @Serrels and @davidwildgoose , pouring one out for the homies.

A few years ago I went on an "explaining tech" style podcast with a woman, who spent like 20 minutes telling the host to prepare their kids for life in the metaverse. And when I politely said, look a lot of people -- including myself -- think that's unlikely, they edited it out!

There's a lot of nonsense being shared about a "Spectacular Parade of Planets" in the morning sky on June 3rd. For a start the pic being Shared shows June 5th not 3rd. Also, you'll need binoculars or a telescope to see at least 3 of the planets in the very bright pre-sunrise sky.
