THE GOSPEL OF THE SELF The greatest deception ever told to mankind was not that God exists beyond the stars, but that He exists only there... For centuries, humanity has bowed before its own reflection and called it holy... never realizing that what it worships is its own forgotten face. Religion taught man to love God, but not to know Him. And without knowledge of the Self, love becomes dependency, faith becomes blindness, and devotion becomes distance. The tragedy of modern religion is not its faith in God, but its fear of man’s divinity. The Church preached Christ, yet buried the Christ within. It taught the story but hid the meaning, offering the 𝑬𝒙𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒄 gospel... the one meant for the masses, and concealing the 𝑬𝒔𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒄 gospel, the one meant for awakening. For Christ was never meant to be admired; He was meant to be embodied. He was not the exception, but the example... the divine archetype of what every soul must one day become. He came not to monopolize divinity, but to mirror it in human form. To say, “look... this too is you, when you remember who you are.” But men forgot... They built temples to worship what they were meant to awaken. They crucified the mirror to preserve the illusion of separation. And so the truth that could liberate became the doctrine that enslaved... Those who know the Self understand what Christ meant when He said, “I and the Father are One.” It was not arrogance, but remembrance... A return to the origin where Creator and creation were never divided. This knowing cannot be taught; it must be unveiled. It is not belief, but realization... not theology, but becoming. To know the Self is to know God, for there is no boundary between the two... This is the revelation hidden behind every prophet’s parable and every mystic’s madness. Until man remembers himself, he will remain a worshiper of symbols, mistaking reflections for reality... He will fight the truth that threatens his ignorance, defend his blindness with conviction, and call light blasphemy. But once he turns inward, once he truly sees... the illusion collapses, and he discovers that the kingdom of heaven was never above, but within. The gospel of the Self is not a new religion. It is the death of all religion and the birth of understanding. It is the soul’s arcane evolution... the moment when man ceases to be a believer and becomes a being. For the Christ has never left the world.
