I know the calendar still says winter, but if you want both water and warmth to grow in, you cannot dillydally here. The rain turns off in June and your roots need to be deep by then.

I have decided to track this, make a record of my local fortnightly vibe shift. Starting on the winter solstice seems appropriate to me, so tomorrow then.

I’ve said before that the fortnight is the perfect unit of measurement for time. In temperate climes, there are differences in weather, foliage, food, and holiday decorations every 2 weeks or so. A vibe change We should have 26 fortnights instead of 4 seasons or 12 months.

And as they sang the songs of new buds and hope a-kindle, the songs of Pan and the songs of Arcadie, the trees began to silver in the winter darkness until they gleamed as bright as the crescent moon above.

I highly doubt daylight saving time is ever going away. Can you imagine people accepting no more 8pm hour sunsets? The sun would set in Boston before 7pm by August 4th and it would get light in am about 3:30ish in May/June. #notfarmers #Willneverhappen. #daylightsavingtime

What would our summers look like if we remained on standard time? If we eliminate the "advancing the clocks 1 hour" in March, then this is what June will look like with sunrise and sunsets.
