@dioscuri I’ve found reading Jung (and in particular his study of symbols) to be reliably psychoactive, and backroom/liminal-space-style videos combine a number of different Jungian symbols. I count 3-4 in this one

Seriously though, why is there something borderline psychoactive about this specific set of motifs? Why pools? Why no windows? Why the pastel colours? It feels suspiciously like an arbitrary code execution exploit on the human mind.

@kennyhealth444 My grandma makes this and it’s the most delicious booger soup of all the booger soups 🙏 Quite high in oxalates though as with any leafy green

trend prediction: molokhia is going to enter the western consciousness and become thee newest superfood (as did oxtail, matcha, etc.). the gut health benefits are just too good. it’s super rich in soluble + insoluble fibre including mucilaginous polysaccharides which are ultra-calming for the gut barrier and feed beneficial bacteria, similar to slippery elm and aloe vera. it’s also packed with polyphenols, magnesium and quercetin. the nectar of the ancient egyptian gods imo.

There is pretty clearly a massive coordinated bot campaign that was launched immediately after the immigration news broke. Interesting to think about who is behind it. Likely China and/or friends, as they directly benefit from fanning the flames and making skilled immigrants to the US feel unwelcome.

People are still underindexing on tadalafil because of its stigma as an ED medication, when it's actually one of the highest RR things you can take for your health. Sauna in a pill

Normal people eating 150-200 grams of protein daily will go down as as big of a disaster as the lead pipes that took down the Roman Empire.

The biggest needle movers are reducing fat (especially saturated fat) and increasing fibre intake That being said, high LDL in itself is not necessarily a concern. Total cholesterol levels of 200-220mg/dL are associated with the lowest mortality rates. Triglycerides:HDL ratio is much more indicative of cardiovascular/metabolic health. You could also get more granular lipids panels to see if your LDL really is a problem
