@priceacarter The Chiefs shouldn't draft any RB in the top-10, ever, no matter how good that RB is projected to be. You sign one or more of these guys to avoid tempting yourself with a bad draft pick like Love.

Which of these FA RB would be too much RB investment if paired with Jeremiyah Love: Walker Etienne Dowdle Allgeier Robinson White Gainwell For me unless it's Walker or Etienne I'd still be in the Love sweepstakes if he were to fall (probably won't)

VA Secretary Doug Collins
VA Secretary Doug Collins@SecVetAffairs·
This is fake news!  What the Democrats won’t tell you: The rule simply formalizes VA’s longstanding practice – since 1958 – of determining disability ratings based on Veterans’ service-related disabilities and any medications they are taking to treat those disabilities. The rule will have no impact on any Veteran’s current disability rating.
House Veterans' Affairs Democrats@VetAffairsDems

Yesterday, VA quietly issued an interim final rule that immediately changes how veterans’ disability ratings are evaluated: no notice, no explanation, no debate. Trump's VA Secretary Collins did not consult VSOs or Congress before acting. Veterans earned their benefits through service and sacrifice. The VA Secretary’s oath is to serve them. Not narrow the rules to take away those benefits. To read RM @RepMarkTakano's full statement: democrats-veterans.house.gov/news/press-rel…

@kent_swanson Kent, I'm listening to the Lab and looking at this stuff, and you've got me panicking a bit. A RB at 9 CAN'T happen. That's poverty franchise stuff. Please stop trying to speak it into existence. lol

@DrJesseMorse MAYBE coaches and players shouldn't compete for the same bucket of votes. And MAYBE a guy that's still actively coaching, that's only been away from the NFL for a season, and that could come back shouldn't have been on the ballot yet.

Why Vahe Gregorian DIDN’T vote for Bill Belichick: Instead he voted for: Ken Anderson, Roger Craig and L.C. Greenwood. He describes Craig as a trailblazing three-time Super Bowl champion who was on the NFL All-Decade team in the 1980s. He describes Greenwood as a four-time Super Bowl champ who was All-Decade in the 1970s. He describes Bengals quarterback Anderson, the 1981 MVP who led the league in passer rating four times. THESE are the candidates this man chose OVER arguably the greatest coach of all-time. SMH

Vahe Gregorian of the KC Star just posted his column on why he didn’t vote for Bill Belichick for the Hall of Fame. amp.kansascity.com/sports/article…

@BCH66223 @mattderrick Bad take. Voters shouldn't be forced to choose between a guy actively coaching and a Steel Curtain legend with 4 rings and a spot on an all-decade team. A guy like LC Greenwood shouldn't be cast aside as a "player 40 years removed." And that's the point.

@mattderrick Flawed process leads to people like Vahe virtue signaling for players 40 years removed. They look at themselves of some stewards of the PFHOF instead of using their brain and making the easy decision right in front of their faces.

There are few journalists I respect as much as Vahe Gregorian, and I respect him even more for sharing his vote. His argument is compelling but still exposes a serious flaw in the PFHOF process. This voter felt the urgency to vote for candidates who might not receive another chance, and couldn’t vote for a candidate with a more deserving resume. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The process used by the Pro Football Hall of Fame is hopelessly flawed and irrevocably damaged. It has been for decades. Burn it down and start over. kansascity.com/sports/article…

Getting EB back is the best outcome given that the HC is the OC (one of the best of all time) and has offensive control. EB brings the same traits that made him successful before: works his ass off and holds people accountable. This time he comes back with intimate knowledge of Ben Johnson’s system, which is as stylistically opposite of KC as just about anyone right now. You’re not going to get much more from a hire than that combination. He’s exactly what the team needs: a guy to coach everyone hard, a guy with new ideas and concepts from one of the best, and possibly the best RB coach in the league to groom Smith (and whoever else the team brings in). I’ve been on the record about wanting Mike McDaniel but that’s not realistic when your HC is Andy Reid. And for good reason. So get the guy back who knows the previous system and can bring fresh and new ideas (see what I did there) from a top Offense.

@Marcus_Mosher Going 10-7 year after year when the Steelers haven’t had a legitimate QB since 2018 is actually amazing.

The truth is that Mike Tomlin hasn’t been a top-8 HC in a long time. Getting you to 10-7 every year and getting the doors blown off every Wild Card round isn’t impressive. If he were on any other franchise besides the Steelers, he would have been fired after 2021.

@Ihartitz I don't see how he only has one loss counted here. He was running for his life in both SB losses. Both of those games certainly had 20+ pressures.

@RealMNchiefsfan EVERYTHING D-line. Not investing in DE despite it being a clear problem, letting Pennel and Nnadi go just to bring both back, and spending actual draft assets on Nnadi in 2025. That whole process should have gotten someone fired.

I want to kind of tie a bow on the whole "I can't believe the Chiefs did X/Y/Z in 2025" conversation in one place so I (we?) can try and move forward to the offseason. With that in mind, what are the most head-scratching decisions the Chiefs made this season in your eyes?

@DrJesseMorse Was it? No run game, nobody that can make a contested catch, and nobody that can separate. The entire offense was built out of tiny WRs. Defenses spawn camped screens and short routes because that's all the Chiefs had. And when Mahomes went down, the offense ceased to exist.

The Chiefs went 6-11 in 2025. Tom Brady’s worst seasons (playing more than 1 game) was 9-7 in his prime (2002) and then 8-9 in his age 45 season. There’s only one 🐐

@TomPelissero Sorry but Trey Smith wasn’t pro bowl worthy this year. Neither was Kelce. Continues to be a popularity contest. These guys have financial ties built into their contracts based on pro bowls. The league needs to do something about the voting process.
