What are we going to do about it? It’s been happening forever but everyone doesn’t seem concerned about the affairs of their country Regardless of your faith or belief you should be willing to go to war for your country if needs be. You’re afraid of being killed in a protest against bad governance, only to end up being killed by kidnappers or terrorist. Let’s keep living in delusion and pray for some foreign powers who are known for wrecking havoc on others to come save us.

The power of reflection is a powerful social skill. None of your arguments is crazy because I have partially shared similar sentiments re: Argentina. Until today, I have NEVER made pro-Argentina tweets. I support Messi & our journey came from club levels. It's only logical that my support extends to his national efforts. Today's conversation is happening because YOUR CAMP decided to politicize football banters and police people choices, for the same foolishness that the people you support perpetuate. Everything you accuse Argentina of till today, is still perpetrated by the people you support. Whether from historical context or current occupational context - except that Argentina isn't currently occupying anybody's country. All the European countries you staunch support by, are still in business. There's no atrocity you are accusing Argentina of, that I won't pull out 5 more instances from ANY of your esteemed European nation. I'll scale it back home & pull current numbers from your continent. What in the fuckall talk-from-both-sides-of-the-mouth double standards are we doing here. False equivalence. When I saw your tweets on the matter, my conclusion which I kept to myself is that humans are not as logical as we think. We pick a side and justify our position with emotional reasoning. We are not looking to learn, we are looking to win. There's a white girl that plays for the Super Falcons because she has a Nigerian ancestry. There are a lot of mixed guys in the Super Eagles and many African teams and if there aren't, it'll be for the lack of talent not a delibrate intention to keep them out based on ethnicity which is the case for the Argentine national team. The reason I used the Norway example is because it's as white as it gets. Indian is also getting with the times and embracing its black population. The world is becoming multi-racial. Argentine is taking delibrate actions to make sure this is not the case for them with a bias against their own black population and blacks in general. Why is it crazy to say that as a black person, we shouldn't be seen supporting such a team? Why is it crazy to say if my kind cannot get the chance to represent Argentina based on the color of our skin, then we shouldn't be found supporting such a team? It reeks of lack of self awareness that borders of suicidal naivety.
